When it comes to a typical project, ONYX provides three stages of core services, which are required for obtaining the necessary council approvals and ultimately construction. These form an integral part of the process of taking ideas, and turning them into actionable drawings.

CORE SERVICES

 

CONCEPT DESIGNS

The first and most important stage of the design process. This is where we begin to take those ideas, and develop initial concept designs of your custom home.

WORKING DRAWINGS

A complete set of technical drawings for council approval and construction. These also allow engineers and other consultants to provide their reports.

COUNCIL APPLICATIONS

With comprehensive knowledge on council application requirements, we take full control of all submissions to councils, engineers, and other third party services to get your project across the line.

In addition to our core services, we provide a number of optional ancillary services which complement the design process, but don’t necessarily form part of the required approvals.

ADDITIONAL SERVICES

 

PHOTO-REALISTIC RENDERING

Whilst our 3D Building Information Modeling (BIM) software produces high quality virtual models, some projects deserve that next level of design production. Renders provide a complete look at your new home in all its glory, with realistic textures and colours, lighting, reflections and staging.

You can see the finished product before even breaking ground. This not only looks amazing, but it can greatly reduce variations at later stages.

LANDSCAPING

Some councils and sub-divisions require this as part of the planning approval process, however a landscaping plan can prove beneficial for a whole of property design package, especially if you’re planning on installing a pool as this can affect the foundations.

INTERIORS

Many decisions for the interior can have major implications on the construction of the home. Including interior design as part of our package, we can ensure any structural requirements are accounted for, whilst also creating a harmonious design solution.
